EdFit is pleased to announce the launch of our EdFit Education Advocate Academy. The EdFit Education Advocate Academy is a program focused on training and empowering parents/community leaders to become Education Advocates. Participants will be exposed to a curriculum that will define advocacy, provide insights/best practices on choosing the best school for their children, actively engaging school leaders and policy makers, and understand how to advocate on behalf of your child and community. Participants will also be expected to perform direct engagement activities during their matriculation in the Academy as well. The program consist of sessions over two months and will conclude with a celebration event.
Our Fall Cohort 1 begins on Oct 2nd from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM and will be held at Edna Martin Legacy & Leadership Center. Sessions will be held both in-person and virtually.
